Nationally known sculptor, Chad Haspels' award winning artistic background began at a young age and lead to a Fine Arts degree from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, MT in 2000.  His introduction to sculpture came through working in bronze, stone, and metal.  Chad began sculpting in wood in 1998 and in 1999 worked an apprenticeship under Internationally renowned Master Woodsculptor James Acheampong in Kumasi, Ghana.  Sculpting full time since 2002, Chad has produced many high profile works and has recieved multiple awards for his work.  He has many one of a kind sculptures in private, corporate, and public collections throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.

Chad co- owns and operates his personal Studio and Gallery in Pagosa Springs, CO with partner and business manager, Jennifer. Chad and Jennifer's gallery features an extensive array of recent sculptures available for sale. They welcome individuals to come and view Chad's available Fine Art sculptures created from hand selected wood from the Rocky Mountain Region.  The wood Chad uses is sustainably gathered and was impacted by natural causes such as weather, beetles, or fire.  Chad's sculptures provide a beautiful organic ambiance inside or outside the home and carry with them a rich sense of place that comes from the Rocky Mountain Region. Chad is also represented by Southwest Gallery in Dallas, TX.

When not sculpting, Chad and Jennifer can be found enjoying nature in various ecosystems.  They both have a lifelong passion for nature in its many forms.
